The Joliet Drama Guild Is Proud To Present

Show dates: August 13-15, 20-22, and 27-29 2010
It’s a mad musical mystery, and YOU choose the ending!
The Joliet Drama Guild presents “Drood”, based on “The Mystery of Edwin Drood” by Charles Dickens, but reinvented as a raucous musical entertainment by Rupert Holmes. The players of the Music Hall Royale, in 1892 London, are presenting their version of The Mystery of Edwin Drood. But since Dickens died before he could complete the story, no one knows how he intended to resolve the mysterious disappearance of young Edwin Drood. So before the end of each performance, the audience will be given the opportunity to vote on each of the most important questions in the plot, especially who among the group of suspects is a murderer. However the audience votes, that’s the way the ending will be performed!
